Improve your
Social Media Entrepreneurship Skills

According to report Digital entrepreneurship in Africa, prepared by Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002, just four countries (South Africa – 23%, Nigeria- 13%, Egypt – 12%, and Kenya – 11%) account for about 60 percent of the continent’s total activity. Based on these facts DIGIPRENEUR project aims to boost the capacity in field of Digital entrepreneurship among African and European countries.


In this context, 8 partners from Spain, Latvia, Greece, Portugal, Nigeria (2 partners), South Africa and Kenya will:
 

  • identify role models to serve as good and ethical examples of social media entrepreneurial activity

  • develop Digital entrepreneurship HUB for both VET learners and VET trainers, teachers and mentors which will:

    • transfer and upgrade and test a bespoke training curriculum on social media businesses;

    • develop a test a new bespoke training modules on e-commerce (for African countries with specific focus on African ecommerce solutions) and principles of outstanding digital enterprises

    • integrate Social media profiles/ Digital entrepreneurship roles as the examples from partner countries

  • develop a proposal for local networking and experience based learning initiative

  • will organise two 5-days trainings covering Social entrepreneurship, eCommerce and principles of outstanding digital entreprises

  • will organise local capacity building activities as learning/sharing events and eLearning experimentation

  • will organise 3 virtual marathons for Young digital entrepreneurs

  • will organise two 5-days EU-Africa Digital entreprenerhip experiental work based learning experiences

Project objectives

Digipreneur training can provide a solid base for the start of a successful Social Media Entrepreneurship journey .
